The file directories Window works hand-in-hand with the Actions Window to allow you to select an element in the Directory window and to carry out an Action on that element from the Actions window.

Example: Click on the top folder named "Upload directory". In the Actions window, you can now see the actions available to you for the element you selected (The Upload directory folder). You can see in the Actions directory, you can make a new sub-directory by entering the required name of the sub-directory and clicking "Make". You should now be able to see your new directory in the File directory window - you may need to scroll down.

By selecting a Directory (or sub-directory) from the File and Directories window you can then Delete this directory (if needed) or upload files into the directory. To upload a file into a directory, first select the Directory from the File and Directories window, and then from the Actions window, click on the Browse button to view files on your computer. When you've found the file you'd like to upload, click OK and you will see the path of your file shown next to the Browse button. You may select up to 5 files at one time for upload.

When you're ready to upload, click the Upload button and the files will be transferred up onto your web site into the folder you selected in the File and Directories window. Please note : the maximum file size for upload is 5 Mb. For files greater than this size, please contact technical support for help {reseller_email}.

You can now see the file(s) you uploaded in the File manager window.

You may also use the Files and Directories window to rename and delete both directories and files. To Rename a file or directory, select it from the Files and Directories window, enter the new name in the Actions window, and the click Rename.

At the base of the Actions window you can see your disk quota and the amount used.
