These are general settings for the current page.

NOTE: The page settings group of options can be "collapsed" temporarily by clicking on the minus (-) icon to the left next to the Page settings heading. This allows more information to be displayed on the page below. To expand the Page settings options, click on the plus (+) sign to the left of the heading.

Menu Item Title box

You may now enter the name of your new page in the Menu Item Title box. This will form the name of this page on the navigation menu of your site, and the physical name of the page on your site.

Page Title

The next item is the Page Title: this will be shown on the title bar of your new page.

Item order

The sequence you create your pages in will determine the sequence they appear in the navigation menu of your web site. Each new page you create will show on the navigation menu in the sequnce denoted by the Item order. If required, you may change the sequence the menu items are shown on your web site by clicking on the drop-down menu next to Item order and selecting the preferred sequence from the list.

Visible

This option determines whether the page is accessable from the main navigation menu on the your web site. This option can be used to temporarily remove access to a page on your website from the web and is useful if you are making extensive changes to a page and would not like your customers to view the page while you are working on it.

NOTE: The page still exists for editing while not visible but cannot be seen by customers to your site until made visible again.

When making changes to page settings or adding / amending the page content in the Page Editor below, you must click the Submit button at the base of the page, otherwise your changes will not be applied!

If you change it, submit it!
